Abstract:

This presentation presents a comprehensive update on the emerging paradigm of decentralized deployments in chemical recycling, a novel approach aimed at overcoming the challenges associated with waste plastic feedstocks. The conventional model of centralized recycling systems faces logistical hurdles and transportation costs, particularly when dealing with vast quantities of diverse plastic waste streams. In response, our research and actual deployments propose a transformative shift by strategically locating recycling processes closer to the source of plastic waste.
