A consistent theme in the life and career of Lou Rofrano would be developing and influencing others to achieve beyond their perceived boundaries. Lou began his sales career in consumer product sales and then moved to medical device sales at Baxter Healthcare where for over 30 years he held various positions of increasing responsibility such Director of National Accounts, Vice President of Sales for Alternate Site, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing Training and Development. In these roles he trained, developed and managed hundreds of sales professionals in the United States and worldwide. As a sales leader he created winning sales teams and training that drove double digit growth in the acute and non-acute care healthcare markets. As a National Account Director he led the Premier GPO Contract Participation Process which drove millions of dollars in profitable annual sales growth. He ran Baxter’s collegiate recruitment program and sales management development training program whose graduates can now be found in leadership roles across the healthcare industry nationwide. At Baxter he created the award winning Flo-Guide sales process which linked sales process reliably to financial forecasting and customer satisfaction.
As an Executive Coach with Right Management he focused on career coaching and development for executive leadership from the Director to the C-Suite level and high potential candidates.
In his current role at AMS Lou uses his healthcare leadership experience and national account sales experience to create winning relationships with GPOs and IDNs. In addition to achieving sales success he is focused on developing new technologies and driving growth through profitable collaborations across the industry.
Lou is also the founder of the Rofrano Performance group where as a keynote speaker and trainer he links sales training to the task of growing profitable sales.
